Webace Keyword Search

At the bottom of each page, there is a search box. Characters, including spaces, are interpreted exactly as they are typed, with the exception of the two wildcard characters "*" and "?", which match multiple and single characters respectively. A "*" is implied before the first and after the last character in the string. At present boolean searching (i.e. "X" and "Y") is not supported.

The search will return a list of all objects in the database which match the query, grouped into classes.

For acedb users

Search is equivalent to "grep" in tace. Clicking the "Do full search" box switches the search from "grep" to "longgrep". Wildcard characters "*" and "?" have the same meaning as they normally do in acedb.
