Saving configuration relies on cookies and cookies are matched on the basis of server address. If
a machine has an alias (webace.sanger.ac.uk is an alias for the real name of the machine, which
may change) but you address the server by its real name then a configuration saved under that name
will not be visible from the alias. Always access a server from the alias recommended.
Webace administrators: make sure the name in hostinfo.pl is the alias not the real name or
users will frequently have this problem.
